Company

Eurotech was conceived in 1995 purely as a JAR 145 certified (presently PART 145) helicopter maintenance company. Whilst in continuous expansion, in 1998 it decides to transfer its seat to Lombardy in Caiolo (Sondrio) in a hangar built purposely to satisfy at its best a modern maintenance company. In fact, the site avails itself of 1000m² of offices and hangar and a platform of 2500 m² which includes a fixed plant for the refuelling of helicopters with gasoline, aviation fuel and kerosene. It is in the phase of constructing an adjacent hanger due to the increase in work to which it has been subjected in the recent years. Apart from the normal maintenance tasks, the company holds training courses for technicians and courses of the attainment of helicopter private pilot licence and proposes itself for consultancies on problematic issues, sales of used helicopters and study for internal and external design on any type of aircraft. Eurotech is developing in a way to be able to offer its clients the possibility of effecting type rating on different types of helicopters. Furthermore, Eurotech can also boast of an important collaboration with Honeywell – Chadwick Helmuth for the study and realisation of the balancing procedures of propellers and rotors and is the representative for Italy and Malta. Thus, this coordination has consented Eurotech to distinguish itself for professionalism and competence in the area of vibrations. It has thus managed to insert itself in the most important research centres of monitoring of the principal national construction companies (Agusta, Alenia, and Piaggio). Eurotech employs more than 30 specialised technicians on the platform of Caiolo and on the secondary platforms. Since 2008, Eurotech can provide assistance to the technical management of helicopters since it is certified by CAMO.
