Eurotech Inglese

The objective of the Eurotech school of aviation is the attainment of the helicopter private pilot licence (PPL(H)) according to the JAR-FCL regulations and it allows the student to act as private pilot for helicopters on single-engine helicopters used in non-commercial flights and in accordance with the visual flight rules.

FLIGHT RELATED ACTIVITIES

The activity is made up of a theoretical and a practical part:
FLIGHT TRAINING
As provided by the JAR FCL 2.125, at least 45 flight hours are necessary for the attainment of the helicopter private pilot licence (PPL(H)), 29 of which in dual control and the remaining as lead pilot. The hours must be booked 1 or 2 days in advance with the possibility weather permitting of flying even during holidays.
Helicopters used for training: Robinson R22 Beta / Beta II
Frequency and duration: Maximum availability for theoretical and practical lessons, flights 7 days a week public holidays included.
THEORETICAL COURSE:
The course consists in approximately 100 hours of theory distributed in the following subjects: Aeronautical regulation; general notions on aircrafts; Performances and planning; Human performance and its limitations; Meteorology; Navigation; Operative procedures; Flight principles; Communications.
The Organisation provides every student with all the teaching material necessary throughout the entire course.
Frequency and duration: To be agreed in accordance with the students’ requirements. Generally 2/3 hours for one evening a week, concentrating specific lessons at the end of the programme for the preparation of the exam. These will be carried out at the platforms of Abbiategrasso and Caiolo. Furthermore, test flights of a duration of 20 minutes are available with booking in advance.

TYPE RATING : Furthermore, upon attainment of the licence or if one is already in possession of a licence, through Eurotech, one may carry out type rating on the following types of helicopters:

Robinson R22 - Robinson R44 - Bell 206 - Eurocopter AS350 Serie + abilitazione B3 - Agusta A109 - Eurocopter SA315B Lama
