The primary objective of Eurotech Flight Training School is to enable its students to obtain the Private Pilot License for helicopters (PPL(H)) and, upon request, the Commercial Pilot License (CPL(H)) according to the PART-FCL standard. With the PPL(H), the student acquires privileges allowing them to act as a private helicopter pilot for single-engine non-commercial flights, in accordance with visual flight rules (VFR). With the Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CPL(H)), the pilot can engage in aerial work, public passenger transport, instructing flights, and rescue flights as a professional pilot.

The training for obtaining the license consists of theoretical-practical contents.
The ATO ensures to provide each student with all the necessary educational materials for the course. Videoconference lessons are also scheduled at the new theory classroom at the Caiolo base (SO). The course consists of approximately 100 hours of theory, distributed across the following subjects:
As stipulated by PART FCL at point FCL.210.H, to obtain the PPL(H) license, it is necessary to have completed at least 45 (*) flight hours, including:
Flight hours should be booked 1 or 2 days in advance, with the possibility of flying even on holidays, weather permitting. Additionally, the course includes practical lessons in IMC/S and, for those using the Robinson for the proficiency check, the required Safety Course.
(*) NOTE: To obtain the PPL(H) license with the Robinson R22, a total of 50 flight hours is required. The PPL(H) course can be completed using Robinson R22, Robinson R44, and Guimbal Cabrì G2 helicopters.
The training for obtaining the Commercial Pilot License for helicopters (CPL(H)) consists of both a theoretical and a practical component.
Following the Private Pilot License for helicopters (PPL(H)) and reaching 155 flight hours, the pilot can enroll in a course that includes 35 hours of flight with an instructor and dedicated theoretical lessons. The helicopters used for all training sessions are: Robinson R22 Beta/Beta II and Guimbal Cabrì G2.
To be agreed upon based on the needs of the students. Typically, 2/3 hours one evening per week, concentrating specific lessons at the end of the program on exam quiz preparation. The theoretical lessons take place at the bases in Caiolo, Bresso, Castelnuovo di Porto (ROME), and via videoconference.
Flights available 7 days a week, including holidays, upon reservation. Additionally, 20-minute trial flights are available upon reservation.
An integrated CPL(H) course is also available.
The CPL(H) license with only 135 flight hours, as detailed in the attached information. The helicopters used for training sessions are Robinson R22 Beta/Beta II and Guimbal Cabri G2.
