Robinson Helicopter Company has announced price increases for 2027. They will apply to:
- new helicopters
- spare parts
- repairs and maintenance kits
- Robinson training courses
The online configurators will also be updated, and official figures will be published from 1 January 2027.
What the new price lists mean for maintenance
The update matters to anyone considering a new helicopter, and even more to those already flying, who have scheduled maintenance to plan for.
For each of its models, Robinson sets a major overhaul at defined intervals, measured in flight hours or years in service.
On an R44 Raven II, for example, the overhaul falls due at 2,200 flight hours or 12 years, whichever comes first.
At that point, at a Robinson Service Center such as Eurotech, a number of components are replaced or overhauled, supplied by the manufacturer in dedicated kits:
- the rotor blades
- drive system components
- bearings and other life-limited parts
The overhaul is one of the largest items in a helicopter’s life cycle. With the 2027 price adjustments ahead, a few practical points are worth considering.
What to consider ahead of 2027
- Check your deadlines. Review the remaining hours and calendar limits on components, along with any overhauls and inspections due in the next 12–18 months.
- Factor in lead times. Kits are not always available straight away, and factory lead times can lengthen during busy periods.
- Consider ordering early. When a deadline is close, bringing an order forward can pay off. It is, however, a decision to weigh against the hours actually flown, operational needs and financial planning.
- Budget for 2027 work. For work falling after January, it makes sense to allow for the cost adjustment now.
What the increases mean for your helicopter
Robinson’s 2027 increases are not uniform: they vary by model and by category.
A percentage increase, on its own, also says little. It becomes useful when read alongside the situation of each individual helicopter: the model, the hours flown, upcoming deadlines and orders already planned.
At Eurotech we can already give you a precise indication of the price adjustments expected for your model, so you can factor them into your planning.
